Sumitomo Metal Developed New 2.5 Times Stronger Car Body Meterial
Sumitomo Metal one of the biggest metal material makers in Japan has developed a new material for car body. The new metal material by Sumitomo Metal Company will be 2.5 times stronger and 50% weights for the body (bonnet and roof) of cars. The company has delivered the sample to the all giant makers and will be used for the actual production in late next year. It is easier to make shape of body than current materials so that manufacturing costs will be reduced to cover increasing material costs. It will be expected to have better quality with the same costs level.
