Tokyo Stocks Open Higher on Wall Street's Lead, Yen's Retreat
The Tokyo Stock opened higher on Monday, with investor sentiment raised up by a comparatively week Yen against the U.S. dollar, mated with Wall Street’s solid lead in the previous week.
The broader topic index of all Frist Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange added 12.54 points, 0.81 percent at 1,570.13.
Mining, oil and coal product, and marine transportation-affiliated issues were among those that gained the most in the opening minutes after the morning bell.
