Mazda rolls out Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in SA
Android Auto made its way earlier this year while the Apple Car Play has been available for a while to the customers in South Africa. A few days ago, the Japanese automaker Mazda announced that certain models in its lineup will support both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. However, the car owners looking to avail Android Auto and Apple Car Play will have to retrofit their cars at a cost.
The kit can be retrofitted to any Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda CX-3, and Mazda CX-5 model that has Mazda’s in-vehicle infotainment system, also known as MZD Connect System. After paying the price, the users will get the latest version of Mazda Connect installed. The Mazda dealerships will also set in place a fast charging 2.1A USB port.
After your cabby gets updated you will need either CarPlay on your IOS devices or Android Auto on your Android devices.
