Electric Vehicles Take Center Stage at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show
Electric cars are roaring on the floors of 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. Many global automakers and dozens of local startups are rushing to display their electric-vehicle models in a push led by China. However, while the companies are plowing billions of dollars into development, the projected sales do not seem encouraging.
Here are some of the most notable models on display at the Shanghai Auto Show 2019.
- Qiantu K50
The Chinese upstart hopes to lure US buyers with its 400 horsepower electric coupe.
- Nissan IMQ
Nissan calls it an “elevated sports sedan”. It has a more spacious cabin due to wider wheelbase and battery under the body.
- Volkswagen I.D. Roomzz
The German automaker unveiled its electric SUV to challenger Tesla’s Model X. It will be avaiebil from 2021.
- Mercedes-Benz Concept GLB
Mercedes Benz unveiled the concept SUV with rugged design and interior space for as many as seven passengers. The GLB prototype features 17-inch wheels takes us back to the unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover in Shanghai six years ago.
- BAIC Arcfox-GT
This vehicle can accelerate to 100 kilometers an hour in 2.59 seconds .It is top-of-the-line electric vehicle of BAIC group.
