5 Mind-Blowing Electric Concepts from the Shanghai Auto Show
This year’s Shanghai auto show has come to an end. The auto show was more about futuristic electric sedans. Many Chinese automakers displayed their concepts and the updated buildup of their oncoming electric cars. Here are 5 concepts which grabbed out attention.

Wey-X
The trend of iridescent colors has become popular in 2019. Wey, a sub brand of Chinese Great Wall that focuses on SUVS, reaffirms the popular colorway with their new electric concept simply called “X.”
X offers more than the blend of colors and has turned out to be a high-tech beast. The tech it comes with includes facial recognition, a holographic assistant, and screens on the outside of the vehicle in place of a grille. Screens are meant to convey messages to the nearby vehicles.

XPeng P7
Many electric cars were showcased at the auto show but XPeng P7 was a major show that grabbed the attention most. Interestingly, it is expected to hit 600 kilometers on a full battery and achieve 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. It will also feature the company’s XPilot.
- Geely Preface
Geely is the largest privately owned Chinese brand. The company unveiled the PREFACE concept sedan at the show. It is the brand’s first high end sporty sedan. The grille has been made wider and taller. To underline its sporting attributes, a slight recess has been added to the grille, giving it an extra visual bite.

Qiantu K50
It may give you the indication of a new Bugatti, but it is the Qiantu K50. This electric vehicle is made up mostly of extruded aluminum, with carbon fiber body panels and a baked-in color-resin system. It has total 430 horsepower. It can also reach 60 mph in an estimated 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 125 mph.

Icona Nucleus
The Icona Nucleus is mind-blowing. It goes without traditional windows for transparent panels and allows passengers to look out without having the outside looking in. This futuristic vehicle is built as the ultimate living room that completely autonomous. With six-seats, it has enough room for passengers to lay down in the back.
