Toyota to Develop Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars with Chinese Partners FAW, GAC

Toyota Motors Corporation has deicded to launch hydrogen fuel cell cars with its Chinese partners FAW Group [SASACJ.UL] and Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) as the Japanese autamrek seeks to boost its presence in the world’s biggest auto market.

Toyota will also equip GAC and their joint venture’s car models with fuel cells, revaled by a filing by GAC to the Shanghai stock exchange on Thursday.

The finciala detaisl of the proect were not released. The project has deepended cooperation among the partners to develop new energy vehciel and connectivity technologies.

Toytoa will also share resources and talent to develop “intelligent connected” vehicles with both the chiense partners.
