Nissan, Safety Agency Looking into Auto-Braking Miscues in SUVs
A system designed to help prevent accidents in some SUVs is going through changes. Nissan received alerts that the Rogue was stopping without warning.
Nissan uses radar to discern obstacles directly ahead of it. The technology is supposed to detect a likely collision and brake in time if the driver doesn’t.
Now, the automaker and the safety agency are looking into auto-braking miscues in SUVs.
