Nissan to temporarily cut production in Japan due to pandemic of COVID-19

 

Nissan has announced that it will temporarily cut production at three of its factories in Japan due to lower demand in the automotive market. This is in addition to efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and promotes the well-being of employees, their families, suppliers, and society in general, the automaker said in the release. At the Oppama plant, vehicle production will be suspended on April 3, 13 and 24 and May 1. In Tochigi, the vehicle will be suspended from April 6 to 22 and May 1. At Kyushu night Shift, vehicle production will be suspended from April 2 to 30 and all production will be suspended on May 1.
