American Interest in Electric Vehicles is on rising during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Things slowed down drastically during the height of the coronavirus epidemic. People stopped going to work, mileage decreased, and car owners did not have to go to gas stations to fill up as much fuel as usual. According to the Ipsos 2020 Global Mobility Navigator study, which focuses on electrification, consumer interest in electric cars increased in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study claims that the increased interest is due to the increased familiarity with electric cars. As the study indicates, higher levels of knowledge about electric cars lead to increased sales.
