China Reduced Tariffs on Hydrogen Fuel Cell Components
China will reduce tariffs on components related to fuel cells imported into the country in 2021, spurring the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs), Chinese news outlet Gasgoo reported. In the new year, tariffs on imported compressors related to fuel cells, circulation pumps, and carbon electrodes will be reduced to 5%, 2%, and 5%, respectively, from the current tariffs of 7%, 7%, and 10%. According to a document issued by the Customs Tariff Committee of the State Council earlier this month. The authority said it will reduce customs duties on 883 imported goods in order to better coordinate domestic and foreign market resources and improve supply quality.
