The electric BMW i7 sedan will be powered by a three-motor all-wheel-drive engine. The battery-powered i7 transmission is rumored to have a maximum power output of 750 hp. It's also possible that the upcoming BMW i7 will share a powertrain with the i4 M and i5 M high-performance sedans. As the name suggests, the i5 will be an all-electric version of the next-generation BMW 5 Series sedan. The new electric model confirms BMW's ambitious electrification plans. The automaker expects electric vehicle sales to reach 50 percent of the company's global sales by 2030.
