Korean Companies facing tough competition
South Korean and Japanese companies often compete head-to-head in the same product groups in global markets, notably cars and electronic goods. However, in Seoul, shares of Hyundai and Kia Motors fell 5.9% to 5.6 respectively.
Not only auto-makers, Korean auto parts makers such as Hyundai Mobis Co., textile companies and steelmakers are also facing competition from Japanese rivals.
