Mercedes Benz Commits To Deliver First Electric Truck in Malaysia

Biforst Logistics Sdn Bhd has committed to become first company in Malaysia to purchase an electric truck.  It has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mercedes Benz.

Electric Truck Mitsubishi Fuso Ecanter is powered by a package of three to five lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 13.8 kwh each. There are also some interesting features like digital key and meter console, led lights, GPS navigation, as well as digital air cond control.

Group managing director of Biforst Holdings Sdn Bhd said that company is also planning to have autonomous vehicles in its fleet by 2020.
