Toyota Is Planning To Build a Fleet of Heavy-Duty, Hydrogen-Powered Trucks
Toyota revealed its plan to build heavy-duty, fuel-cell trucks. It is an indication of automaker’s increasing bet on the most abundant element in the universe. Although, there are major fueling limitations but automakers are increasing their bets on fuel-cell.
If Toyota goes on making these vehicles, no doubt, these fuel-cell vehicles are expected to be the best hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle on the market.
Estimated driving range of a truck is more than 200 miles per fill, under normal trucking operations.
Fuel-cell vehicles use compressed hydrogen and emit only water vapor as an emission. This idea is not new. Fuel-cell vehicles have been in development for decades, but only now these have been capable enough to replace average driver’s gasoline-powered car.
