Yuan inches up, But Gains Capped by Corporate Dollar Purchase

Chinese Yuan inched up against the US currency on Monday, but gains were capped after companies increased their purchase of the U.S. currency.

On Monday, the dollar was steady against a basket of six currencies after falling to its lowest since late September on Friday.
