US Dollar Ends Week Stronger Against Peers

The US dollar rose on Friday against a basket of currencies. It was on pace to finish the week at its strongest since mid-November. The decline was observed in commodity-linked currencies following a drop in oil prices and as political concerns in Italy and Span hurt the euro.

Oil prices fell on Friday after the discussions between Russia and Saudi Arabia regarding easing of supply curbs.
