Yen Firms, Dollar Weakness Holds After New Trade Tension

The US dollar index was off 0.2 percent after slumping on Friday. The Yen was 0.4 percent firmer at ¥111 after gaining close to 1 percent on Friday and amid fresh surmise over a change in Bank of Japan policy.
