Mazda to Launch Electric Car with Rotary Engine in 2020
Japanese automaker Mazda will roll out an electric car with a rotary engine in 2020. It is part of Mazda’s plan to make the transition to a fully hybrid and electric lineup.
The engine can recharge the car’s battery when needed, doubling its driving distance. It also helps the car running more quietly by generating minimal vibration.
The new battery-only car will be Mazda’s first electrical offering. However, the automaker has not provided any details about where the car will be launched.
