Toyota's research institute in China will study Hydrogen, Green Tech

The Japanese automaker Toyota is planning to set up a research institute in Beijing in partnership with the Tsinghua University. The research institute will research hydrogen power alongside with other green technologies.

A statement issued by Toyota Motors Corporations states that the Toyota-Tsinghua joint research initiative would be continuing studies on new car technologies. These studies would aim at solving environment problems in china including a decline of traffic accidents.
