Brake Defect: Chrysler to recall 870,000 SUVs
Chrysler is recalling nearly 870,000 SUVs due to corrosion that may make brakes harder to use. Models involved in this recall are Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango.
Chrysler said that when exposed to water brake boosters can corrode. After the water freezes, booster will not be able to aid braking as they usually do.
Company started investigation after some customers complained about the brakes. One accident is known to company, but no injuries, due to the defect.
