General Motors Updates Plans for a Zero Emission Vehicles

The company will introduce 30 new electric vehicles globally from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac by the end of 2025. Additionally, 40% of GM models made in the United States will be battery electric vehicles. One of the first electric cars to hit the market will be the GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1. The electric van will provide some 1,000 horsepower and unprecedented off-road capability. It will go on sale in late 2021. The switch to electrification is not entirely voluntary on the part of General Motors. GM's market value declines with Tesla Inc., which has become the world's most valuable automobile company with a market capitalization of $ 800 billion by producing only electric cars.
