Tesla Plans to Allow Other Electric Cars to Use Its Superchargers

Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to announce that the automaker plans to allow electric vehicles from other automakers to use its Tesla Supercharger network. In response to a tweet highlighting Tesla's exclusive charging connection to its vehicles, Musk has officially announced that the brand's Supercharger network may become more accessible to everyone. Tesla claims to have 25,000 superchargers in the world, making it the largest network of electric vehicle chargers. Now, Tesla plans to open its network to non-Tesla owners.
