Detroit Auto Show 2018 Preview: What to Expect at the Upcoming Auto Show
2017 is about to finish as we are closer to 2018. It means that 2018 Detroit auto show is right around the corner. It will take place at Cobo Hall January 13-28. This year 31 automakers will attend this show.
Here are some of the big reveals that we expect to see at 2018 Detroit Auto Show. However, there will be more reveals as the show approaches.
Chevy:
Mid-engine Corvette is rumored to debut at 2018 Detroit Auto Show. However, it is yet unclear if Chevy will reveal it at the show in January.
The full-size pickup twins are expected to receive an update at the show. However, it is yet to be confirmed by GM.
Ford:
It is expected that the new Ford Ranger may make its first appearance in Detroit for the first time.
We might see some new Mustang Mustang make their way onto the show floor. These may be in the form of Bullitt and maybe even the recently leaked GT500.
Hyundai:
The Veloster will be coming for a second generation. In a photo released by Hyundai, it looks similar to before but a with a little change.
Infiniti:
Nissan’s luxury division says that it shows something in a flagship Sedan in concept form at the show.
Lexus:
Lexus is expected to reveal the concept LF-1 Limitless that looks an evolution of current Lexus design with wraparound taillights and some fancy.
Ram:
A refreshed Ram 1500 is expected to make its debut at the Detroit auto show, possibly with the split tailgate as it was caught in spy photos.
Toyota:
The japanese automaker will reveal new Avalon at the 2018 Auto Show. Toyota released a teaser. New Avalon looks slightly more aggressive than the current Avalon.
Volkswagen:
2019 Jetta will debut at 2018 Detroit Auto Show. VW teased this stylish a few days ago, so a fair amount of the surprise is gone.
