Japanese Automaker Suzuki, Mazda, Yamaha Admit To Flawed Inspections
Three major Japanese vehicle makers have admitted using falsified emissions data to inspect new vehicles after the government ordered the industry to review its procedures.
The three automakers admitted at separate press conferences on Thursday that they have cleared vehicles for emissions or fuel efficiency standards after improper tests.
All of them attributed the problems to human errors or lack of training of the workers.
