Nissan unveils EV crossover concept at Tokyo motor show
Nissan introduced the new concept of electric Car known as Ariya concept at the Tokyo Motor Show by launching its first production model that could use the Nissan Leaf platform. In Tokyo two years ago Nissan unveils the concept of IMx.
The electric car Ariya is 18.1 inches long, which is similar to that Mercedes-Benz GLC Class, indicating that upcoming electric models of Nissan would be medium size. The Ariya concept give us idea of Nissan future designs elements like v shaped front fascia and thin LED headlights gives new trend in the market.
The Ariya is powered by two electric motors, one for each axle, The long reach of the Leaf is currently equipped with a 62 kWh battery, which gives it an EPA-certified 226-mile (226 km) range, but it is likely that the production version of this concept will have even bigger battery to compete with EV crossovers from other manufacturers.
